Shagird is the new upcoming movie which is going to be released in this year.With this movie Nana Patekar is making come back after a Rajneeti.In the Rajneeti Nana Patekar has done a good performence for which he is known.This movie is quit different to all the movies which he has done in the past 2 years.The plot of this movie is the said to be real by persons who are attached with it.Mohit Ahlawat is also in the main role.We can also see some very good  action which is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by the Asif Shaikh   . Shagird is an action film that follows a cop played by Nana Patekar and his protégé Mohit Ahlawat set in the city of Mumbai. The movie claims to be based on real life incidents.

The film was a bit delayed due to Nana Patekar’s serious foot injury but irt is in the final stages now.MohitAlawat will be seen as a police officer in this movie. The film is fully action based and Mohit is once again trying his luck after the failure of his previous two movie –  James and Shiva, which did not get a good response from the audience. Nana is playing the leading role as a gangster, along with Anurag Kashyap, which basically suggests that like all of Nana’s films there will be a social message in the film and we can expect some hard hitting dialogues and performances.

The film traces the journey of OM Shashtri, an American citizen of Indian origin, who loses all his wealth overnight to the global recession & has been asked to vacate his home by the bank unless he pays up $100,000 (mortgaged amount) within 30 days.

Seeing no other option Om comes to India to sell a small piece of an ancestral property. But within days of landing in India he is kidnapped by a ‘recession-hit’ underworld gang those who think that he is still a millionaire.

What happens to Om, is he able to save his home, how did the ‘poor’ gangster cope with their ‘poor’ catch & what do small town Indian gangsters have to say to President Obama…is largely forms the rest of the story.

The film, showcases how global recession/ meltdown impacted lives from an America based businessman to underworld dons in the dusty plains of small town India.

The story itself is not complicated (you can watch Babel and 7 pounds to catch a more complex intertwining of multiple character stories) and focuses on the lives of an American born Indian Shai, a clothes washer (or a Dhobi as they are called in Hindi, hence the title Dhobi Ghat which refers to the place where Dhobis practice their trade), and a seclusive artist Arun (Played by Aamir Khan). To be fair, I figured out the story involving Arun and tapes left for him by his sister (who’s moved to bombay at the start of the tapes and records a video of her days there as a ‘letter’ of sorts to her family which shes left behind in another city).

A reliable source gushes in a tabloid quote stating, “Antara was quite kicked about Amol’s film and loved the narration. She immediately agreed to sign up for ‘And Once Again’. And didn’t think twice about shaving her head, because her role, which is that of a female monk in Sikkim, requires it.”

Bollywood Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh had to kiss Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone on screen for their forthcoming bollywood film Lafange Parindey and the actor reportedly got cold feet. Not because he’s a virgin screen-kisser and, well, Deepika Padukone has the experience of kissing Saif Ali Khan before camera for the movie Love Aaj Kal… but, apparently, because Neil’s had a no-kiss policy in all his films so far.

His first director Sriram Raghavan had thrown a fit when Neil refused to kiss Rimi Sen. In his second film, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, director Sudhir Mishra insisted Neil kiss Shahana Goswami. But the actor refused. Even in Jail where there was a love-making scene with Mughda Godse, Neil refused to kiss the sultry actress. But Lafange Parindey director Pradeep Sarkar pulled the plug on Neil’s chastity vow. A source from the set said it was a long, torrid smooch comparable in intensity and duration to the Aamir Khan-Karisma Kapoor kiss in Raja Hindustani. And Neil was nervous!

In a stunning revelation, Rahul’s ex-girlfriend Payal Rohatgi raised the curtain from the secret that she was beaten up by Rahul Mahajan twice. She spoke out Rahul’s violent nature. “He did hit me twice. Once he banged my head against the door. When Rahul is angry, he completely loses his mind.” she revealed.

On being asked whether she had met Dimpy, the actress replied, “I don’t live in the past. It’s been a long time. But after hearing the news of beating I felt very bad for her, nobody should be treated like that. She is a woman I can understand that.”

The actress also claims that things were not fine between Rahul and his new wife Dimpy. “When I spoke out about Dimpy and Rahul in a previous interview, Dimpy denied everything and said that all was fine between her and Rahul, but the next day the news of him beating her came out. This itself speaks a lot about how much was fine between them.” she said.Rahul and Payal became cozy at the reality show , ‘Bigg Boss’ and the couple grabbed many eyeballs when Rahul lifted up Payal or became too intimate with her in the swimming pool.  Rahul’s first wife Shweta Singh also claimed divorce on the basis of physical abuse.
